The South Coast Local Group of IfSE is based in the Portsmouth/Southampton area. Current members come from Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex and Berkshire.
It provides an opportunity to share ideas with like-minded colleagues in an easygoing evening atmosphere. Attendance is not restricted to IfSE members and, where possible, free of charge.

Mission statement
- To provide a meeting place for Systems Engineers from different organisations within a reasonable travelling distance
- To provide four meetings through the year on a variety of interesting subjects
- To promote and improve the practice of Systems Engineering
- To promote awareness of IfSE and encourage membership
